My review journey started during the COVID-19 lockdown where I had moved to a smaller house and had to scale down to portable and desktop audio not so much because of space constraints but rather being thoughtful of my neighbours.

The name Audio Geeek started from a misspelled AI generated image that was sent on a review tour group I was in and I asked the creator if I may use the image for Facebook pages ect. and he gave me permission. Using the image the first time I saw the spelling mistake with the extra “e” and after leaving the review tour group the image and name Audio Geeek just stuck with me.

I am 42 years old and have been an audiophile eversince I got my first Sony Walkman at age 13. I have always had an interest more in the gear than the music. I grew up in the cassette era, never got into cd’s as I never liked them. Dabbled in reel to reel tape recorders and embraced the vinyl revival. Today I am an avid reviewer who specialises in all desktop and portable audio.
